All of Softech’s boards are designed and made here in the US using highly-durable materials and proven manufacturing techniques. The boards come in a wide range of styles, though each is built to withstand the toughest of treatment.

Our 4 Favorites
#1 Softech Rocket Fish 4'8
The Softech Rocket Fish 4’8 is somewhat of a flagship surfboard for the company.
It is perfect for the surfer who is looking to prioritize speed above all.
The Rock Fish is pretty short, coming in at 4’8”, though it is loaded to the brim with tons fo volume for added buoyancy.
With a 100% waterproof X-density EPS core, this foam surfboard has top-notch stability with the added structure on the flex pattern, allowing you to paddle out with a bit more assurance.
The slick deck is double-sided and is made with a high-density polyethylene slick top and bottom.
This slick texture helps to improve the overall speed while stiffening the flex pattern, giving the rider a bit more drive.
With the small size, it is no surprise that the turning response is pretty solid. What surprised us was just how fast this little thing accelerates in the surf. This surfboard comes with FCS II Soft Fins, though they do provide hard fiberglass fins for an upgrade.

The Softech Flash FCS II falls more to the hybrid side, as it was designed with a fuller nose and added volume.
You’ll find a lot of volume sitting under the chest, which makes the board incredibly easy to paddle with and surf in small waves.
The tail is tapered, allowing for much tighter turns in narrow barrels.
The Flash II comes with an interchangeable FCS II thruster setup, providing you with both control and stability.
You can also swap the fins out with ease if you are looking for a looser experience.
The Flash II comes with a 100% waterproof X-Density EPS foam core, a double-sided slick deck to stiffen the overall flex pattern, and reinforced X-Mesh.
The X-Mesh adds a significant amount of strength to the skin of the board to help maintain the structural integrity after many sessions.
In terms of capacity, the company recommends that no one over 187lbs uses this board for optimal use.
